Building clean water wells in impoverished areas of Cameroon to provide safe drinking water.
Located in the remote village of Kakwa, Cameroon, this project brought clean water to hundreds of families who once relied on unsafe, stagnant rainwater. By completing the fourteenth well, IIWA provided access to safe drinking water, reducing waterborne diseases and improving the quality of life for residents.
This well, funded by a generous donor as a continuous charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), stands as a symbol of compassion and community transformation. It reflects how small acts of kindness can bring lasting change to entire regions, turning hardship into hope.
